Direct Enrollment and Program Provider Options

If you would like to enroll directly at an institution in Australia, you must make an appointment with Pernille Levine in the Study Abroad Office.

If you would like to study abroad at an institution where UM or TEAN do not currently offer a program, then you are welcome to direct enroll in that institution. You may also want to study at that institution through a third party program provider.

If you are planning to study abroad in Australia through a program provider other than TEAN at an institution where TEAN currently has a location, you must petition the University of Maryland Study Abroad Office in order to receive permission to do so. Please contact the Study Abroad Office to find out more about this petition process.
