Financial Aid and Scholarships

The Study Abroad Office has scholarships available exclusively for Maryland-in-Haifa participants. Spring 2010 program applicants should apply for the scholarship using the University of Maryland Study Abroad Scholarship application. These scholarships will be awarded to students based on financial need and academic background.

As the Maryland-in-Haifa program fee is charged directly to each student's account, UM students can also use the TERP payment plan or tuition remission (where applicable) when financing their study abroad experience. UM students can also use their university, state and federal financial aid towards study abroad expenses.  Study Abroad staff will notify the Office of Financial Aid so that Maryland-in-Haifa students' aid posts automatically before the beginning of each semester.
