Exchanges in Germany

University of Maryland students interested in exchange programs in Germany are eligible to study at:

• Freie Universität Berlin
• Gesamthochschule Kassel *
• University of Tübingen *
• WHU - Koblenz (Business students only)

Engineering students can also study in Germany through the Global Engineering Education Exchange (Global E3) Program or through the Engineering and German Double Degree Program at Maryland.

NOTE: Exchange partnerships marked with an asterisk (*) have a tuition waiver, meaning UM students pay no tuition during their exchange semester or year.  The tuition waiver does NOT apply to exchanges through the GlobalE3 program or at the Freie Universität Berlin.
