Please see www.oanda.com for the most current exchange rates.

Financial Aid and Scholarships

The Study Abroad Office has scholarships available exclusively for Maryland-in-Rome participants.  See our Scholarships page for additional information and current deadlines.  These scholarships will be awarded to students based on financial need and academic background.

As the Maryland-in-Rome program fee is charged directly to each student's account, UM students can also use the TERP payment plan or tuition remission (where applicable) when financing their study abroad experience. UM students can also use their university, state and federal financial aid towards study abroad expenses.  Study Abroad staff will notify the Office of Financial Aid so that Maryland-in-Rome students' aid posts automatically before the beginning of each semester.
