Exchange Programs

College Park students are eligible to study at the following partner universities through the University of Maryland’s established exchange programs.

The University of Maryland and our partner universities abroad each select one to four students for each exchange program and then the selected students swap places for a semester or year.

For most exchange programs, you pay your regular UM tuition.
For all those marked with an asterisk, you do not pay any tuition at UM or at the host institution.
EFFECTIVE SPRING 2009: All students participating in a Maryland Exchange Program will be charged a $250 Study Abroad Exchange fee per semester.
Applicants are expected to be self-sufficient and highly motivated, since exchange students enroll as full time students in the host institution
