Application

Eligibility

Graduate students and advanced undergraduates may apply to the academic year program. The program provides students with the opportunity to conduct research on a specific topic in Russian language or literature, social sciences, or natural sciences while pursuing advanced language study.

For semester and full year programs, students with at least two years of college-level Russian are eligible to apply.

The Admissions Process

Admissions decisions for the ACTR program are made by ACTR staff. The Study Abroad Office has no influence on decisions made. Early application is strongly advised, as space is limited. Applicants are not guaranteed admission, even if they meet the minimum requirements.

All applications must be submitted directly to ACTR by the application deadline. DO NOT SUBMIT YOUR ACTR APPLICATION TO THE STUDY ABROAD OFFICE.

To apply, visit the ACTR website. There you will find a downloadable application form with detailed application guidelines and required materials.

Remember to submit all materials simultaneously for best consideration.

If you are admitted to the program, Study Abroad Office staff will be in touch with you to ensure the completion of necessary steps and paperwork prior to your departure for Russia.
