Study Abroad in Denmark at the University of Copenhagen
The University of Maryland acts as a coordinator for the Danish Institute for Study Abroad (DIS). Students on the program take courses through DIS, the official program for English-speaking foreigners affiliated with the University of Copenhagen.
The DIS program is open to all UM students, as well as students from other University System of Maryland universities. In order to qualify, applicants must have at least a 3.0 cumulative GPA. Students can enroll in the DIS program for the full year, or they can choose to study for the Summer, Fall or Spring semester.
Founded in 1167, Copenhagen, the capital of a modern, affluent, democratic society, is a study in contrasts:
For questions about the application, registration and pre-departure logistics, please contact Aggie Danielewicz, University of Maryland's DIS Coordinator.
