Dr. Gabriele Strauch

Dr. Gabriele Strauch, Associate Professor, Department of Germanic Studies, is a native of Germany. She lived in Cameroon for 4 years, working in a community development program and teaching German at local high schools in Yaoundé and Mbalmayo. She co-authored a German textbook Was ist deutsch? (2001) with a primary focus on Germany as a multicultural society.

Aggie is the Coordinator for Short Term Programs in the Study Abroad Office at the University of Maryland. She coordinates all logistical aspects of the Winter and Summer programs. Aggie is available to discuss the program with any interested applicants.

Angie is a Program Assistant and Advisor in the Study Abroad Office. He assists in the administration of University of Maryland short-term programs and is available to answer questions from program applicants and participants.
