There are several options for semester or year long study abroad programs for University of Maryland students. These are organized in the following categories:

  2. Programs with institutional or organizational arrangements with Maryland

  3. Programs recognized by Maryland but without any direct sponsorship or arrangement ^

^ Starting in January 2009, students who enroll in non-UM (College Park) programs for semester study abroad will be charged a $400 fee. Students who enroll in University of Maryland exchange programs for study abroad will be charged a $250 fee per program. This charge will appear directly on student accounts.
