CIM Scholars Presented in National Chinese Language Conference

Professors Jing Lin and Rebecca Oxford, and Dr. Yanyu Zhou represented CIM and presented in the National Chinese Language Conference (NCLC) in Washington D.C., on April 17-19, 2008. NCLC is the first national Chinese language conference which allowed teachers, administrators and policy makers to come together to explore ideas to enhance Chinese language learning in the United States. In the conference, CIM scholars communicated with teachers and policy makers on issues in Chinese language teaching, cultural activities offered by CIM, and they shared with the audience CIMs plans and programs for Chinese language education and culture in the near future. The conference was co-organized by the College Board and Asia Society.
