Tax season has arrived again! IES has compiled a list of resources that will be available to our international students and scholars during this period. The deadline for filing Federal Income Tax forms is April 15, 2009 for income earned in 2008.
This general information session will cover basic non-resident income tax concepts for international students and scholars.

IRS Taxpayer Assistance Centers are your source for personal tax help when you believe your tax issue cannot be handled online or by phone, and you want face-to-face assistance. There are eight IRS Taxpayer Assistance Centers in the state of Maryland.
The Graduate School will be offering consultations with tax professionals for graduate students. [They will not offer advice about education-based assistance programs (fellowships, grants)].
No need to make an appointment. Bring in all relevant documents, forms and a calculator.

Students and scholars may buy an individual-use CINTAX license at the cost of $39.
