Why?

From Terps Abroad...

The Terp network extends around the globe and there are many UM alumni abroad doing exciting things who want to share there experiences with us back in College Park!

"I work in project management with a civil engineering and construction firm called Ejeproy in Cuenca, Ecuador. While I hope to serve as resident engineer (aka field manager) for one of our upcoming projects, my job at present consists in coordinating all of the financial details of our ongoing projects as well as assisting with the preparation of our bids. That first part of my duties includes signing off on bill payment, managing warehouse inventories and tracking the daily use of machines, materials and man-hours in all of our projects. When we have many projects going on at the same time it can be exciting."
